The third edition of this set of two volumes containing one of the foremost English Romantic poets Percy Bysshe's Shelley's poetical works, as edited by H. Buxton Forman and with the notes of Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley.

The first edition thus was originally published in 1882. 

Shelley greatly influenced important poets such as Robert Browning, Thomas Hardy, and W. B. Yeats. Some of his best-known works include 'Ozymandias', 'Ode to the West Wind', 'To a Skylark', and the political ballad 'The Mask of Anarchy'. 

With a preface by the editor and a the biographical and critical notes by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley. 

Illustrated with a frontispiece to each volume.

Condition

In the publisher's original decorative cloth binding. Externally, very smart and bright, with some light shelf wear and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Internally, hinges to both volumes are strained, remaining binding is generally firm. A few spots to the pages, which are otherwise bright and clean.
