With the bookplate of Henry Courtney Brocklehurst to the front pastedown. This book is from the Brocklehurst library. Gift inscription to the front pastedown. Henry Courtney Brocklehurst fought in Burma during the Second World War. He was the second son of the first Baronet. 

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with gilt stamping to the spine. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing to the head and tail of spine as well as to the extremities. Bookplate to the front pastedown, Henry Courtney Bocklehurst. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Light spots to the endpapers. Otherwise, just the odd spots.
