Written by Charles Godfrey Leland, an American humorist and folklorist.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Light fraying to the head and tail of the spine. Fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Residue of a removed bookplate to the front endpaper.
