    First Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Scarce

    First edition of Chirps and Chimes in Various Keys by D. Bruce Mackie in the original cloth binding. 

    A scarce work with only one copy held in libraries. 

    A lovely collection of local songs from the late nineteenth century in Brechin. 

    With a few in-text illustrations.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, sound. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There are some light marks to the boards. The hinges are starting but firm. The front free endpaper is working loose. Internally, generally firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some odd spots.
