A very scarce volume, published in 1892.
A handy and thorough atlas of England and Wales, profusely illustrated with various maps and plans. Lacking plates fifty two, sixty two, and sixty three of Birmingham, Portsmouth and Southampton, and York.
With general maps on physical features, geology, population and such, as well as county maps and town plans, and forty seven pages of descriptive index to the rear.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally sound with slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, as well as a minor damp mark to the front boards. Slight cracking to the front joint to the tail of the spine, and a minor tear to the head of the rear joint. Slight crease to the bottom right extremity of the front board. A minor previous owner's scribble to the front free endpaper, which has a slight tear to the top right corner. Internally, firmly bound. Minor offsetting to the pages which are generally bright and clean throughout. Collated. Illustrated with sixty four plates, although plates fifty two, sixty two, and sixty three are lacking.
