Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

Narrating of fascinating voyages and naval experiences with the "Sunbeam" RYS, a British luxury yacht that became famous after Annie Brassey's first publication of this book in 1878, sharing her adventures during a world cruise. Voyaging through Madeira, Tenerife, Palma, Rio de Janeiro, Pampas, Santiago, Tahiti, Hawaii, &c. 

This work was written by the Sunbeam's owner's wife Lady Brassey.

Illustrated a frontispiece and numerous further illustrations in text.

Condition

In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally smart with minor shelf wear, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, fading to spine. Previous ownership inscription to front free endpaper dated 1894. Front hinge slightly strained to frontispiece, holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages browned as usual with the type of paper used.
