Very Scarce

This work consists of once confidential documents accompany the Report of the Bridges Committee to the Council, and proposes the construction of Blackwall Tunnel with evaluaions on subaqueous tunnels at New York and Sarnia.

The report was made by Sir Benjamin Baker, an important English engineer who developed many of London's underground railways, as well as the Forth Bridge and the first dam at Aswan.

Printed for the London County Council.

An extremely scarce work.

Condition

In the original paper wraps. Externally generally smart; edges are rather age-toned, and a closed tear of nearly two inches runs through all leaves of the work at the head. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
