Written by Edward Joseph Lowe, an English botanist, meteorologist, and astronomer, renowned for his contributions to the natural sciences.
Condition
In the original green cloth. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound though frontispiece has come loose. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting and the odd annotation. Contemporary ink inscriptions to the front endpaper.
