In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Light rubbing and a few minor marks to the boards and spines. Spines are lightly faded, more so to 'Eric Brighteyes'. A small amount of cockling of cloth to the front board of 'She'. Faded ring mark to the front board of 'Eric Brighteyes'. Cloth to the boards of 'Cleopatra' is cockled. Spots to the fore edges. Rear hinge of 'Allan Quatermain' is starting but firm. Hinges of 'Eric Brighteyes' and 'Cleopatra' are starting but firm. Prize label to the front paste down of 'Allan Quatermain'. Bookseller's label to the front paste down of 'Colonel Quaritch V.C.'. Chip to the rear endpaper of 'Cleopatra'. Internally, 'Colonel Quaritch V.C.', 'She', and 'Cleopatra' are firmly bound, 'Allan Quatermain' 'Eric Brighteyes' are generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some scattered spots. Plate facing page 110 in 'Allan Quatermain' is detached but present.
