    Description

    Colour Plates, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    A reprint of Charles Lamb's fairy story in verse Prince Dorus. Published at the same time as a limited edition bound in vellum, printed on large paper and signed by the publishers, with hand coloured plates. Dated 1890 from Jisc.

    With an introduction by Andrew W. Tuer. 

    Comprising the facsimile from the original 1811 edition, including the original title page and the nine colour plates. Collated, complete.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's leatherette paper wraps. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only and a faint mark to the front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are clean throughout. Illustrated with nine coloured plates being a facsimile from the original illustrations.
