Myles Birket Foster was a prominent watercolourist during the Victorian era, particularly well regarded for his sentimentalised landscapes.

Illustrated with a frontispiece, two plates, and both in-text and full paged engravings.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Spine is a little rubbed. Some minor marks to the boards, mostly to the rear board. Hinges are starting but firm. Label to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the occasional handling mark.
