    Description

    Illustrated, Limited Edition, Publishers' Original Binding

    Complete in two volumes. A limited edition stated, an unnumbered copy of three-hundred-and-twelve printed. A reference work comprising an inventory of church plates in Leicestershire, with some accounts of the donors, in the nineteenth century. 

    Thoroughly illustrated.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original red cloth binding, with titles stamped in gilt to spine and decorative stamp in gilt to front board. Externally very smart, with minor shelfwear and slight bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities. Internally, hinges are slightly strained to front board of volume I, otherwise binding is firm. Minor faint scattered spotting, particularly to endpapers. Leaves to volume I unopened, leaving limitation and title page inaccessible to photograph. With fifty-six illustrations to volume I and thirty-three to volume II.
