An overview of the objects and antiquities in the churches of Dorset, which falls in the Diocese of Salisbury. With extracts from the church goods by the Dorset Commissioners of Edward VI, 1552. Condition
Rebound in half morocco. Externally, a trifle rubbed. Rubbing to the extremities. Some cracks to the joints. Marks to the boards. Loss to the leather on the spine. Hinges starting but still very firm. Age-toning and spotting to the reverse of the free endpapers. Internally, binding slightly strained but still firm. Pages age-toned but the text remains clear. Scattered spotting throughout, with the odd handling mark.
