What Our Customers Say...
Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce
Scarce work. A report of the third annual meeting of the American Economic Association. With addresses by Dr. William Pepper and General F. A. Walker, an American economist, statistician, journalist, educator, academic administrator, and an officer in the Union Army. Compiled by the secretary, Richard T. Ely, an American economist, author, and leader of the Progressive movement who called for more government intervention to reform what they perceived as the injustices of capitalism, especially regarding factory conditions, compulsory education, child labor, and labor unions. Ely is best remembered as a founder and the first Secretary of the American Economic Association.
In the original paper wraps. Externally, sound with chipping to the extremities and the odd closed tear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
