Description

Leather Binding, Limited Edition

Translated from the original Spanish into English by Captain John Stevens. Stevens is best known for his translation of Don Quixote in 1700. This is a reprint of Stevens' 1707 translation. It has a limited print run of 200 copies. La Picara Justina is a picaresque Spanish novel with an unknown author. It is generally attributed to Francisco Lopez de Ubeda.

Condition

In original full vellum binding. Externally generally smart with minor bumping to the extremities. Several handling marks to boards and spine. Slight rubbing and bumping to spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are slightly age toned to edges with the occasional spots throughout.
