    An exciting study into the sport of billiards, penned by an ex-champion, Joseph Bennett.

    After being the billiard champion three times in 1870, 1880, and 1881, Bennett went on to teach the sport in London. One leaf of adverts to the rear advertising Bennett's lessons.

    Illustrated with a frontispiece, and many in-text illustrations and diagrams throughout.

    In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Minor bumping to the spine and extremities. A few minor marks to the boards and spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just a few occasional spots. A few pages unopened to the top edge.
