Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

A 1889-90 facsimile of this original 1825 work by the Religious Tract Society, a selection of charming festive poetry published as a Christmas annual. This volume contains twelve poems in total.

Illustrated with a frontispiece, and in-text woodcuts throughout.

Introduction by S. G. Green.

Prior owner's ink inscription to the head of the front board, 'Margaret Williams, from .. Clifford.'.

Condition

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, smart, with an ink inscription to the head of the front board. Light marks to the boards. A little bumping to the spine and extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound, gathering B is working loose a little. Pages are bright and generally clean with a few odd spots.
