Two Years Ago, published in 1890. A new edition, first published in 1853. Half titles are retained to all works. Charles Kingsley (1819-1875) was a man of many talents and professions, serving as a church priest for the Church of England, university professor, historian, social activist, and author. He is most well known for his works The Water-Babies (1863), Westward, Ho! (1855), Hypatia (1853) and more.

Condition

In a half calf binding. Externally in excellent condition. The odd mark to the boards. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the odd spot and marginal age toning.
