A very scarce first edition of this work, rarely seen on the market and found institutionally only in four libraries including the British Library and the National Library of Scotland.

Containing a series of one hundred and fourteen economical and practical recipes by Emma Burchell. Complete with half title

Featuring simple recipes for soups, meats, sauces, pudding, pastry, and more.

Condition

In the original publisher's binding over paper covered boards. Externally with shelf wear, chipped with some loss to spine and extremities, previous ownership ink inscription to front board, boards considerably marked. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally very clean throughout with occasional minor staining mark to odd leaf.
