'Partial Portraits' is a collection of literary criticism essays, including the important essays 'The Art of Fiction'.

Written by Henry James, the noted American author who is best known for his works 'The Portrait of a Lady' and 'The Turn of the Screw'.

Condition

In a half vellum binding with paper to the boards, a signed binding by Birdsall. Externally, smart. A little discolouration and a few light marks to the vellum. A couple of light marks to the boards. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some spots, mostly and heavier to the first and last few pages.
