The eighth edition of Charles Wentworth Dilke's travelogue of English speaking countries. With three illustrations, collated and complete. Dilke was an Enligsh liberal and literary critic, and in the present volume he offers his impressions of North America, New Zealand, Australia, and Asia. With a prize bookplate to the recto of the front endpaper. The book was awarded to A. Seaton for maths. With the crest of Pembroke House School in gilt to the front board.
Condition
In a full tree calf binding, with the crest of Pembroke House School in gilt to the front board. Externally, very smart. Very lightly rubbed to the joints and the spine, with a tiny bit of calf missing to the head of the spine. The front hinge is starting, but firm. Internally, firmly bound, with bright and clean pages throughout.
