    First edition. Signed to the endpaper with the compliments of the author. Illustrated throughout with frontispiece, many in-text wood engravings and three folding plates. Collated complete. A collection of writings on the church and parish of St. Giles, compiled from various authorities including the churchwardens' accounts, and the vestry minute books of the parish. Written by Sir John James Baddeley, a Lord Mayor of London.

    Condition

    In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with bumping to the extremities and fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with age toning, predominantly to the endpapers.
