Collated complete. Written by Horatio Walpole, better known as Horace Walpole, was an English writer, art historian, man of letters, antiquarian, and Whig politician. With additions by the Reverend James Dallaway, an English antiquary, topographer, and miscellaneous writer. Revised with additional notes from Ralph Nicholson Wornum, a British artist, art historian and administrator who was keeper and secretary of the National Gallery of London.
Condition
Bound in half crushed morocco with marbled boards. Externally, smart with rubbing to the extremities and minor bumping. Light fading to the spine with the odd mark to the boards. Front hinge just starting but firm to volume one. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot and minor age toning to the extremities.
