Philip Gilbert Hamilton was a British artist, art critic, and author. Most of his writings concern the graphic arts.

Condition

In the publisher's original blue cloth binding, with titles stamped in gilt to spine and front board, as well as illustrations to front board. Externally very smart with slight shelfwear and minor bumping to head and tail of spine. Internally, firmly bound. Minor spotting to edges, affecting the occasional page only, particularly to last few leaves. Some leaves left uncut. With one-hundred-and-forty-seven illustrations and four maps.
