Previously held in the library of Sir Henry Rider Haggard, an English writer of adventure fiction romances set in exotic locations and a pioneer of the lost world literary genre. With his signature to the front board. A British biannual, formerly quarterly, magazine established in 1866 by publisher Alexander Strahan and a group of intellectuals to explore their views on current affairs. With ten articles including "About Fiction" by H. Rider Haggard. Publisher's advertisements to the front and rear of the text.

Condition

In the original paper wraps. Externally, sound with light wear and minor chipping to the extremities. Sunning to the spine and board edges. Minor loss to the head and tail of the spine with the odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot predominantly to the first and last few pages.
