Various plates from The Builder Magazine, bound in half leather and cloth boards.
Bound in non-chronological order, this collection of plates includes an assortment of designs and illustrations from the magazine now known as 'Building'.
The plates in this collection range from editions between 1887 and 1892.
Founded in 1843 as 'The Builder' magazine in 1843 by Joseph Aloysius Hansom. The editor between 1883 and 1908 was Henry Heathcote Statham.
Includes contributions from various British architects.
A very scarce collection.
The front board is disbound.
Condition
In quarter leather binding and cloth boards. Externally, fair. The front board is disbound. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine. The spine has some slight wear. There is some spotting to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
