A scarce work discussing wine with general facts, culture of the vine as a branch of the industry, historical notes on consumption, and going into detailed descriptions of wines from different countries and regions as well as much more information, and additional notes on Claret, Burgundy, Sherry, Port, Champagne, and other sparkling wines.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding, with titles stamped in gilt to front board. Externally very smart with minor bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities and slight rubbing to cloth to front and rear joints. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
