First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding

This is a collection of linked short stories, including 'Story of the Destroying Angel', 'Story of the Fair Cuban' and 'Zero's Tale of the Explosive Bomb'.

This work was penned by Stevenson along with his wife, Fanny Van de Grift Stevenson (1840-1914).

Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) was an important Scottish novelist, best known for works including 'Treasure Island', 'Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde' and 'Kidnapped'. His works were extremely widely-read and acclaimed during his lifetime, and he is one of the most widely translated authors in the world.

Condition

In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally a trifle rubbed, with general wear and chipping to the edges and extremities, and some loss to the pictorial cover. Some small tape repairs to the front cover and its edges. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just the odd spot.
