Early sales were very good when this book was first published, so a reprint was needed in the same year. The preface was re-set to change the size of the type. Includes the map of India which is not present in the first and second impressions. 

Includes the header 'New Series for Season 1885' to the thirty two page catalogue to the rear. 

Illustrated with twelve monochrome plates by Gordon Browne. Collated, complete.

G. A. Henty was an English novelist and war correspondent from the mid to late nineteenth century. He is well renowned for his work of adventure and historical fiction.
