A scarce first collected edition of these two works by J. Barbey D'Aurevilly. In the original French. Jules-Amedee Barbey D'Aurevilly was a French novelist and short story writer and was particularly noted for his mystery tales.

Condition

In a quarter morocco binding with original paper wraps bound in. Binding signed by E Bonleurel. Externally, very smart with some light rubbing in places. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean. Original paper wraps slightly soiled.
