A label to the recto of the half title identifies the work as purchased from the Torquay Natural History Society. With no further library markings.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail. Small split at cloth to head of front joint. Hinges strained, with boards holding firm. Lacking front free endpaper, with frontispiece and title page detached but present. Purchase not pasted to recto of front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
