Ink inscription of Jean Tsushima to the recto to the front free endpaper. Tsushima was a keen lover of the folklore and uses of plants.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Light marks and a little rubbing to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the spine and extremities. Front hinge is strained after the title page. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just a few light marks. A couple of light tide marks to the plates. Folding map is age-toned with one tape repair to the reverse.
