Condition

Rebound in half calf binding over cloth covered boards by F. & E Stoneham with five raised bands gilt tooling to spine, gilt to top edge, new marbled endpapers. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, only sunned to spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. With a coloured frontispiece and black and white illustrations.
