With tables of the roman calendar, measures, weights and money to the rear of the work. A comprehensive Latin to English dictionary, with an interesting focus on the etymology of each word.

Condition

In a polished calf binding. Externally smart with marks to the boards and minor rubbing to the joints. Contemporary bookplate for Sherborne Library to front paste down. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with tide mark to fore edge, predominantly affecting the preliminary leaves only. Marginal age toning and the odd spot, heavier to the first and last few pages.
