    First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce

    First edition of The Bicycle Road Book, Compiled for the Use of Bicyclists and Pedestrians by Charles Spencer in the original publisher's cloth binding.

    A scarce edition with only eight copies held in libraries. 

    A complete guide to the roads of England, Scotland and Wales, for cyclists travelling around the UK. Also includes hotel listings, population information, and more. 

    Wonderfull illustrated adverts.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, sound. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There is some wear to the cloth in these areas. The hinges are held by the cords only. Internally, generally firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with spotting throughout.
