From the library of Marjorie de la Warr, with her inscriptions to the verso of front endpaper and to the recto of front free endpaper. De La Warr worked in the field of radionics with her husband George Walter de la Warr. Together they founded the De LA Warr Laboratories in Oxford.
With an illustrated frontispiece, and five plates.
A very smart copy of this work, which describes the history and landscape of Derbyshire.
Condition
In a half morocco binding. Externally, vert smart. Small patches of light rubbing to the joints and extremities. Prior owner's inscriptions to the front endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Scattered spots to the endpapers and just the odd spot to pages.
