Illustrated, Leather Binding, Rebound, Very Scarce

A fascinating journey through old cities of Spain, including Toledo, Seville, Granada, Valladolid, and more. Including the history, local culture, dress, and physical descriptions of these beautiful cities. 

Including over 125 in-text illustrations. 

Written and illustrated by A. Robida, a French illustrator, etcher, lithographer, caricaturist, and novelist. He edited and published La Caricature magazine for 12 years.

Condition

In quarter calf binding with marble covered boards. Externally, smart, with some rubbing to the joints and light shelf wear. A few marks to the boards. Internally, hinges are strained but firm. Front free-endpapers and half title page detached but present, otherwise binding generally firm. Spotting to the pages, more prominent to the first half of the book.
