In five volumes. The set consists of: A Study of Shakespeare, Miscellanies, Poems and Ballads II, A Study of Ben Jonson and Age of Shakespeare. Algernon Charles Swinburne (5 April 1837 ? 10 April 1909) was an English poet, playwright, novelist, and critic. He wrote several novels, and contributed to the famous Eleventh Edition of the Encycloaedia Britannica. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature in every year from 1903 to 1907 and again in 1909.

Condition

In full navy blue calf leather bindings with gilt embellishment to the spines and boards. Externally, very smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
