Victorian novel by English author Charlotte M. Yonge. A prolific novelist and authors on matters such as public health and sanitation, as well as spreading the influence of the Oxford Movement. She wrote in the service of the church. 




Condition

In the original publisher's uniform full cloth bindings. Externally with bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities. Spine gently cocked forward. Internally, binding generally firm to vols. I and II; front free endpaper up to p. 638 vol. III loose but present, as well as p. 955 to rear free endpaper of the same volume. All leaves accounted for. Light spotting scattered throughout.
