Original Binding

Second edition, with preface to the first edition, and publishers catalogue dated February 1888. Edited by Howard Marsh, assistant-surgeon and lecturer on descriptive and surgical anatomy at St. Bartholomew's Hospital.

Condition

In original cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine. Externally, light rubbing to boards and fading to the spine. Shelfwear to the head and tail of spine. Both hinges are slightly strained. Internally, generally firmly bound, with some leaves working loose. Bright and clean, aside from the odd handling mark, and light foxing to index. Bookplate to rear pastedown and booksellers label to the front pastedown.
