The ninth revised edition of this work in a half calf binding. Ink inscription to page 79. Frontispiece is a folding plan of Exeter. One plan of Exeter Cathedral. Lacking a plan and map. Murray's Handbooks for Travellers were popular travel guide books, published in London by John Murray, beginning in 1836. This one concerns Devonshire.
Condition
In a half calf binding. Externally smart, with rubbing to the extremities, joints and head of the spine, and bumping to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with the odd spot throughout and a little soiling to the rear paste down. Lacking a plan and map.
