A lovely complete two volume set of The Renaissance Art in France, first edition copies. 

The French Renaissance was the cultural and artistic movement in France between the 1th and early 17th centuries, artists working within the French Renaissance are Francois Clouet, Jean Fouquet and Corneille de Lyon. 

Mrs Mark Pattison or Emilia Dilke was a British author, art historian and trade unionist. 

With eight plates and a frontispiece to volume one and nine plates and a frontispiece to volume two. 
Collated, complete.

Bound by Hatchards. 

With a bookplate for Sir William Eden, Bart to both pastedowns.

Condition

Bound in half morocco with cloth covered boards. Externally, lovely with some light marks to the boards. With a bookplate for Sir William Eden, Bart to both pastedowns. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
