Description

Rebound, Very Scarce

A book dedicated to the servants by one of them, published by the author for his friends, and made available at the time for purchase for one shilling at the publisher's or the author's. Published in 1878. An unknown number of copies were made. Containing verses written by a servant called John regarding life and faith in God and Christianity. 

A very scarce, unrecorded work with no institutional records.

Condition

In red cloth binding, rebound with new endpapers. Externally smart, with slight shelfwear and slight tide mark to front and rear board. Spine is slightly faded. Internally, firmly bound. Minor offsetting to title and last page, otherwise pages are clean.
