First edition. Bound in their original pictorial cloth bindings, and featuring the original publishers' advertisements to volume two. Complete in two volumes.

Condition

In original pictorial cloth bindings, with gilt lettering to the front boards. Externally, both volumes are rubbed, with shelfwear to the spines. All hinges are slightly strained. Internally, both volumes are firmly bound and generally bright, with instances of scattered spotting throughout.
