The original work by Munk is the second edition and is complete in three volumes. This work is a list of eminent physicians whose names are recorded in the annals from the foundation of the Royal College in 1518 to its removal in 1825, from Warwick Lane to Pall Mall East. In the twentieth century G H Brown and Richard R Trail then continued this work to 1968. This work is commonly known as 'Munk's Roll' as it is a key piece of medical history. Munk was an English physician who published many works.

Condition

In uniform full cloth bindings with gilt stamping to the spines and front boards. Externally, smart with minor bumping to the head and tail of spines. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Spots to endpapers and just the occasional light spot elsewhere.
