Volume one, August 1878 through to Volume twelve, December 1888 Complete in six volumes. New series volumes. With illustrated frontispieces to every volume, and profusely illustrated throughout by Pilotell Includes all manner of discussion on the theatre including 'The Duties of an Audience' by Ethel Coxon. These volumes also contain many excerpts from a diverse range of plays and writings.
Condition
Uniformly bound in cloth covered binding. Externally, worn, with marks to boards. the backstrip of one volume is lifting and there are two small closed tears to the spine. Internally, firmly bound, generally bright and clean with only occasional spotting to two volumes. One page has become loose in 1881 Volume. Some volumes have pencil annotations throughout.
