Containing one hundred and ninety contemporary songs. This work comprises traditional Scottish music, edited by J. Pittman and Colin Brown. The verses have been edited by Charles Mackay (1814-1889), a Scottish poet, author, novelist and songwriter.

In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with some wear to the corners. Prize bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are a touch age-toned.
