An account of the Prince of Wales's tour from Pall Mall to the Punjab region of British India, with chapters on Bombay, royal fetes, Poona, games and sport, Ceylon, Madras, Calcutta, Delhi, tiger shooting, hunting in the jungle, and more. Written by J. Drew Gay, a British author and travel writer.
Condition
In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, worn with rubbing resulting in fraying to the extremities. Fading to the spine and boards with the odd small mark. Light bumping to the extremities. Splits in the cloth to the head and tail of the spine as well as the joints. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting and age toning to the extremities. Library ink stamp to the front endpaper and the reverse of the title pages. Library bookplate to the front pastedown.
