This work reports on studies found regarding a form of cutaneous leishmaniasis, a skin infection that acquired the common name of 'oriental sore' or 'Delhi boil' due to high numbers found in India, namely Delhi.
The report includes observations made regarding the spread of the infection amongst European troops who were stationed there after the mutiny.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities, heaviest to the tail of spine. Marks to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age toned due to paper used. With the ink impression of the Library of the British Medical Association to the front free endpaper and another ink impression to the title page.
