    A first edition copy. 

    This volume contains a series of lectures delivered at The Royal College of Surgeons of England on the defects of vision which are remediable by optical appliances. The lectures were also published in the Medical Times and Gazette. 

    With diagrams throughout the text. 

    Eight pages of advertisements to the rear.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very good with some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and library sticker to the spine. Institutional bookplate to the front pastedown. Royal ophthalmic hospital stamp to the title page. Internally, firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages.
